Lavender DRY and chocolate lava cake.

First job:
“Walking beans” (cutting corn stalks when crops were rotated) in the summers in rural Illinois.

What you like best about working at DRY:
Working with incredible individuals and the excitement (and fast-paced environment) of working for a start-up.

Favorite book:
Any short story collection by John Updike or Ann Beattie. . . because I love the subtlety and realness of their writing and with three kids, short stories are about the only fiction I have any real chance of finishing!

Things that make you happy:
Family; friends; non-fat, extra-hot, five-pump chai tea latte; watching a DVD start-to-finish, totally uninterrupted; Fall in Seattle.

If I had time…
I would do yoga, learn to tap dance, organize my photo albums.
