At DRY Soda we love building communities. Bringing people together to share experiences is pure magic. Whether it is around food, art, music, or a charity, getting people together for a common cause is powerful stuff.
Our passion for bringing people together made partnering with the Small Room Collective a no-brainer. If you are unfamiliar with the SRC, they are a traveling pop up shop that is building a grass roots community around art, music, and vintage treasures. They are like the honeybees of the creative community—traveling from place to place and cross-pollinating ideas and inspiration from across the United States.
Small Room Collective recently made a stop in our hometown and we couldn’t pass up an opportunity to spend the evening with them. The event was a listening party for a new musical project based in Seattle, Gallowbird. The evening featured a first listen of the new album (it comes out in November), treasures from the SRC, Tito’s Vodka, and of course lots of DRY Soda.
Gallowbird even recorded a live version of one of the songs inside the SRC airstream trailer. You can check out the video below. The song was recorded by Vertigo Productions and is available for download. All the proceeds will go to benefit the Pablove Foundation to fight childhood cancer.
