The holidays are in full swing! Our Cocktail of the Month for November is The Return of Persephone. A play on the classic cosmopolitan martini that transforms into an elegant drink endemic of the goddess of flowers and pomegranate.
The Return of Persephone
- 1 1/2 oz Absolut Hibiscus vodka
- 1 oz Lemon juice
- 1/2 oz Homemade lemongrass grenadine syrup (try infusing this recipe for grenadine from The Kitchn with chopped lemongrass stalks)
- 3/4 oz Ginger DRY Soda
- Serve: cocktail glass
- Garnish: Chocolate covered pomegranate seeds
Add first three ingredients to ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake 5 to 7 seconds. Strain into cocktail glass.
Top with Ginger DRY Soda and garnish.
