This technology, such as the MakerBot Replicator 2 above, takes creativity and design literally into a whole new dimension. Creating physical objects out of materials such as metals, plastics and even foods, 3D printing is a re-imagining of what’s possible. And speaking of possibilities, 3D printers are becoming more and more affordable, making it possible to start creating amazing things right in your own home.
